The faculty for the combined degrees Global Health with Medicine Program is drawn from Loma Linda University’s Schools of Public Health and Medicine.
Admissions
Students are selected through a process involving both the School of Medicine and School of Public Health. Selection is based on standard admission criteria for the M.P.H degree in Global Health—especially alignment of professional goals with the global health program learning outcomes.
The program
The program is designed for physicians intending to work cross-culturally either domestically or abroad. The curriculum includes applied practice to build skills in responding to complex global health realities, advancing health equity and address social determinants of health, leading with cross-cultural competence, as well as strengthening systems thinking and collaborative, ethical partnerships.
