Short-term, program-directed international behavioral health experience offered at scheduled points throughout the academic year. Students may earn up to 30 practicum hours at LLU-associated international sites approved by the Dean’s Office. The experience emphasizes ethical practice, cultural humility, and community wellness building through supervised, team-based engagement with host organizations. Pre-experience preparation and concurrent seminars are required.
SBHG 705. Global Behavioral Health Elective Practicum. 4 Units.
Emphasizes recovery, resiliency, and empowerment as foundations of global behavioral health interventions through an elective experience in international behavioral health.
Prerequisite: Good academic and behavioral standing; approval from student's program director, department chair, and dean; valid passport.
