Accommodation for Disability
Loma Linda University is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Sec. 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, as well as with local and state requirements. The University is committed to providing education—including support services and reasonable accommodations for disabilities—to qualified applicants for whom such accommodation does not fundamentally alter the chosen program or create an undue burden.
For information regarding accommodation for disability, the student should consult the office of the dean of the school to which application for admission is being made.
Following acceptance, the student may be asked if they have a disability requiring accommodation. A student who desires accommodation for a disability (e.g., physical, learning, or psychological), identified after acceptance, should consult the office of the dean regarding a request for accommodation, which must be submitted in writing on the designated form. The completed form and required supporting documentation will be evaluated by appropriate University entities to determine whether or not the applicant can be expected to perform the essential functions of the program. All discussions will remain confidential.
