Utilizes foundational principles and a focus on knowledge and skills specific to neurologic and psychiatric conditions to contrast the normal function of the central and peripheral nervous system with dysfunction and disease. Integrates neuroanatomy, neuropathology, neuroradiology, and pharmacology with clinical presentation and basic management. Applies clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of disease mechanisms to clinical problems.
